Wish the weekend would never end...

Well I already tried to post this one once but "there were errors" apparently, or at least that's what the program told me. So anyway, I had a really fun carefree weekend and I was a little bummed when I woke up this morning and I realized I had to get up and go do stuff like class and go to work in a couple hours. My boyfriend, Zora, and his friend Travis came up for the weekend and we seriously did nothing interesting. Saturday was spent getting my oil changed and then going to my dad's house to work on laundry (because I was out of quarters to do it here at my apartment) and playing Mario Cart (Double Dash) and Mario Party 6 on Anna's Nintendo Gamecube. Honestly though, this was the most fun that I have had in a while. There is something really funny about choosing a man-eating plant and a ghost as the drivers of a huge pink cadillac in a race where you can chuck giant bananas and spikey blue shells at your opponents. At 21 years old, you would think that I had outgrown such simple pleasures, but fortunately I have not grown up that much yet.

come on, Em. You do remember at least one holiday down here where people were playing Mario cart. Remember who was playing and getting the wildest? Who says we ever really grow up. ;)

You guys are missing the real question.. why do you want to grow up? Life is so much better when such simple things amuse us.. like mario carts and marshmellow snowmen.. ;-)

I'm jealous, sounds so much more fun than my weekend of working:) I'm glad you had fun! And I hope none of us ever grows up, but to be honest I'm not too worried about the people in our family ;)

This is awesome. Now we just need to get Maren and Aaron on here. :) And will the marshmellow snowmen ever die?

yeah i was just telling one of my friends that we have just an ongoing conversation b/w the 4 of us right now, I agree with angie-we just need aaron and maren to pitch in! I don't think the marshmellow men can die :) and nothing would be as much fun if they did

Hey guys, I just thought that I would leave a comment for Maren and myself. It sounds like a lot better weekend then standing watch over a boring old nuclear reactor. I would definately rather be playing video games. And I hope the snowman bites it because I don't know what your talking about.

I can't say that I remember either of those. And yes, this is my better half. It always takes the best pictures. Thanks for noticing.

Did I say there was cheating?!? I meant to say....that there never is any cheating and never will be any cheating when it comes to playing cards in any Morris household...:)
